Terms of service

1. Accounts

• Keep your sign-in details secret and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
• Provide accurate information. Organizations are responsible for the accounts they create and manage.
• Users under 18 may use GurukulLive only through a school or institute that has the required parental consent.

2. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

• break the law, or record or share others without the consent the law requires;
• harass, threaten or harm anyone, or share content that is obscene, hateful or infringes others’ rights;
• attempt to access accounts, meetings or data you are not authorised to access, or disrupt the Service;
• reverse engineer the Service or resell it without a written agreement.

We may suspend access that puts other users or the Service at risk.

3. Your content

You (or your Organization) own the content you create in GurukulLive — recordings, chats, whiteboards and files. You give us permission to host, process and transmit it only to provide the Service. Hosts are responsible for informing participants when a meeting is recorded;GurukulLive shows a visible recording indicator to everyone in the meeting.

4. Plans, fees and taxes

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in Indian Rupees. Prices exclude GST, which is added at the applicable rate.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• If a renewal payment fails, we give a 7-day grace period before moving the account to Free plan limits. We never delete your data because of a failed payment. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

5. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep GurukulLive available and may improve, change or retire features over time. Service levels for paid plans, where offered, are described in your order form or plan details.

6. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. Where we process data for an Organization, we do so on its instructions.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

8. Termination

You can stop using GurukulLive and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, you can export your content for 30 days unless the law requires otherwise.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction.
